Whitney Hampton was born and grew up in a wealthy
family of doctors, her father was a renowned heart surgeon and her mother was a
gynecologist, her grand-parents and great-grand-parents were in the medical
field too. However she has never been interested in medicine studies nor has
she ever pursued their wish to see her follow the family path; instead she
wanted to become a journalist.
When she told her parents on her graduation day that
she had applied into a journalism school, her father shut her off and warned
her that if she went that way, she’d have to leave the family house for good,
without their financial support!
Blown away by this outraged reaction, she decided to
force her destiny anyway and left her hometown.
She moved in Sunset Valley, a lovely seaside town,
where she immediately felt at home.
With nothing but her determination and courage in her
pockets, she took a low-paid job at the local newspaper and tried her best to
fulfill her dreams; and show her father that she made the right choice.
